In 1996 Tamara Rae had an encounter with God while sitting in her car. While crying out to God that her life was meant for more than what she was currently living, she saw a rainbow appear and she knew this was God reminding her of His promise to her, based off of Philippians 1:6, "He who has begun a good work is faithful to complete it".  It has been this verse that has kept her pursuing after all God has, not only for her, but for others who have walked their own personal journey's. 

From Tamara's Heart to yours

It has been a lifetime since that day in 1996 sitting in my car, having a serious heart to heart with God. Many challenges, heart breaks, life lessons and more have come and gone, but one thing has remained, my resolve to have my life prove that everything He said in His Word is true. I decided a long time ago that I wanted my life to prove His Word. That is quite a lofty life goal to set, but I had seen enough people claim to believe God's Word, and yet nothing about their life reflected what they said they believed. Was His Word not true, or was it something else?

Being a lifelong student and lover of God's Word, I have come to this conclusion, thus far.; and that is that blessings follow obedience, and God is more concerned about the health and condition of our heart relationship with Him. God's perfect design and perfect creation was relationship with Him. Sin changed all that. Everything God set into place after that initial sin was about bringing us back into perfect relationship with Him.

When we get that revelation, then everything falls into proper perspective. That is what Tamara Rae Ministries is about. Bringing the message of the Gospel, the message of our Father's relentless love and pursuit of us, to the wandering orphan heart.
