For The Everyday Mom: Happy Mother's Day

To all the moms who second guess themselves everyday. Who go to bed replaying their day with their kids and hoping they do better "tomorrow". For all of the moms who cry tears no-one sees and silently battles the fear and insecurities that no-one knows are there. To the moms who drop to their knees in the closet and cling to the promises of God for their children as they navigate the teen years where there are influences, beyond your control, in your childs life. To the moms who scroll through their phones and look at pictures of when their children were younger, and say "I thought those were the tough years" and they walk in their child's room just to turn right out and shut the door so you dont "loose it" To all the moms who look in the mirror and say to themselves "who is this person staring back at me?", I AM YOU. I GET YOU! So does your heavenly Father. He says that He is the Great IAM! Which means, whatever you need, HE IS. A Father to the Fatherless, a Husband to the Husbandless, a very present help in time of trouble, the Lover of your soul. He promises never to leave you, nor forsake you. You are His greatest love, the apple of His eye and He rejoices over you with singing and He quiets you with His love.

Jesus is moved with love and compassion for mothers. In His very last moments on the cross, His final thought was to His mother. Let that settle in your heart. Jesus made SURE HIs mommy would be taken care of. Jesus LOVES mommy's, and He loves you, dear sister.

With Love,

Tamara Rae
