We can no longer ignore that, while there is a divide in our world, in our Nation, there is also a divide within the church. The Word tells us that there will be a separating of the wheat from the chaff. That good will be called evil, and evil good. Bitter will be called sweet and sweet will be called bitter.
We are not of this world and it's kingdoms, we are of His Kingdom, however, we are in this world and have to be aware of its systems and how they affect our lives and how we align or don't align with how it operates.
We cannot use the blanket of "christianity" and "love" and the, and this is my favorite, "God is still in control so it doesn't matter how we vote", excuse for passive compliance.
While I am a Christian and I love as He has called us to love, I dare not be so blasé in how I operate within this world. This is where, in my deepest conviction, I believe we, as "the Church" (and I use that term loosely) have er'd and in a BIG WAY. We have adapted a mindset that anything goes because of the "grace and love" doctrine that has been prostituted over the past decade, if not more. We have adopted the vonacular of this world, and in doing so, we are now eating the "fruit thereof" by what we have sown with our own words.
We sound more and more like the world, in our attempts to win them, but have we really accomplished anything other than watering down the Gospel?
We must realign ourselves back the the holiness and righteousness of God, keeping in mind that there will be many, amongst our own ranks, that will malign us, in the process, for doing so.
Consider it a privilege if that be the case for you.
